Starting in 2021, Illinois initiated a legal requirement that ALL state employers train their employees ANNUALLY on sexual harassment prevention in the workplace. The state issued regulations outlining the requirements for the training, including fines for employers who fail to provide this training every year. With severe legal and financial consequences for employers whose employees claim to have been the victim of sexual harassment at work, no employer is exempt from this pressing issue. Even small employers with only one employee must comply!

The SBDC and College of Lake County have partnered to provide this easy to attend virtual seminar to support our business’ need to meet this training requirement at no cost!!
